The North Piedmont chapter is excited to welcome
ASHRAE members from the six other chapters to the Greensboro area.


This year, CRC will take place at the Grandover Resort & Spa. Rooms are available for $175 per night and must be booked by July 11, 2017 for special event rate. Call 800-472-6301 and ask for ASHRAE CRC event rate.

The resort offers a wide range of activities, including golf, tennis, spa services and swimming. Event attendees receive a 20% spa discount.

Experience one of North Carolina’s premier golf courses at the Grandover Resort during the 2017 CRC Region IV Golf Outing. Proper golf attire is required (shirts with collar, no jeans).
When: Thursday, August 10
Shotgun start at 1:00 pm
Where: Grandover West Course
Boxed lunches will be provided at noon at the registration area. Please be sure to pre-register for the golf outing when you sign up for the conference.
Prizes will be awarded so bring your best game!

 Professional Development

This year, we will have three professional development sessions, featuring topics on ethics and building sciences, and BIM. Speakers are Tim Wentz, Chris Mathis and Henry Green. Plan to spend Friday afternoon learning and earning CEU/PDHs. 

 Companion Events & Tours

In the Triad, you’ll find plenty of the famed southern hospitality along with a fascinating mix of history, furniture and modern fun. Join our companion tours to explore more of this interesting region and mingle with a few fun folks along the way.

Downtown Greensboro History Tour: Have lunch in Greensboro’s vibrant downtown area and then head to the Blandwood Mansion for a look at one of America’s great historic homes. Finish the afternoon with a walking history tour of downtown Greensboro’s most famous landmarks. (Thursday afternoon)
Furnitureland South: Join us for a behind-the-scenes tour of this global furniture destination. We’ll also have about an hour to explore individual showrooms on our own. (Friday morning)
Old Salem Segway Tour: After a brief training session, you’ll hop on your very own Segway on a guided tour through downtown Winston-Salem and into the Old Salem Historic District, a National Historic Landmark settled by the Moravian community in 1766. With a stop halfway
at a local chocolate factory, this tour is sure to sweeten your day. Please note that participants must be at least 14 years of age and between 100 and 260 lbs. Flat, closed toed shoes are required. Spaces are limited and will be on a first come, first serve basis with registration. (Friday afternoon)

Registration will be open through August 9. After August 9, please register at Grandover with the host committee. 


 Additional Information

The Welcome Party is themed "Swine & Dine". Please come in resort casual picnic attire.

There will be a silent auction at the Awards Dinner, featuring items from the Triad, as well as items from the homes of the other Region IV chapters. All proceeds will be donated to Research Promotion.

The hospitality suite will be open every evening!
